We are a small family-run nursery opened in 1991. Our building is familiar and well-loved, and while our rooms may not be the fanciest, they are full of warmth, care, and a real home-from-home feel, where children feel safe, happy, and comfortable.
We are committed to nurturing each child’s learning and development, helping them grow with confidence, curiosity, and joy.
Children and families come from many cultures and countries, bringing a richness we celebrate every day. Our nursery reflects the community around it. Home languages are heard, family traditions are respected, and every child is welcomed and valued for who they are.
We focus on real relationships. We get to know our families personally, supporting them and sharing plenty of laughter and play along the way. Our nursery is a small community built on care, trust, and shared experiences — a place where everyone belongs.
Our Rooms
Our nursery is organised into four age-appropriate rooms, each designed to support children’s care, learning, and development at different stages of early childhood.
Children move between rooms when they are ready, not simply based on age, and transitions are guided by their individual development, confidence, and wellbeing, while always working within required staffing ratios. Familiar adults support each move, working closely with families to ensure every transition is calm, positive, and right for the child.
Babies
Ratio: 1:3
Age Range: 6 weeks – 2 years
Toddlers
Ratio: 1:5
Age Range: 2 years – 3 years
Upper Toddlers
Ratio: 1:8
Age Range: 3 years – 4 years
Preschool
Ratio: 1:8
Age Range: 4 years – 5 years
Please note age ranges are a guide, and children move rooms when they are ready and settled, not solely based on age, while remaining within staffing ratios.
